I had to come here 3 or 4 different times to actually taste some food, the first time me and my friend came, we waited over 30 minutes before anyone came to the table. My second time, they closed early for some reason, the third time they were closed again for some unknown reason.
My 4th, I finally got seated and got a biscuit that was good and fresh, couldn’t get a mimosa because somethings going on with their liquor license, wanted oxtails and grits for brunch, but they oxtails weren’t ready and wouldn’t be ready for another 2 hours (it was 10:30). So I ended up getting their avocado toast (which was excellent) and just a bowl of grits, (was not good) couldn’t even finish it. I’m contemplating visiting one more time to actually taste the oxtails

Service was awesome
Food for lunch was overcooked and overseasoned. Soul food is made with love... not over seasoned... also ... there wasn't any alcohol available... the best thing were the deviled egg...but even those needed more devil... presentation was absolutely awesome but looks were very much all this food is worth... a good look...

We went with a group of friends. This is a family owned restaurant. The food is DELICIOUS, true southern food with great portions. The fried chicken and fried pickles were exceptionally tasty. This is great comfort food and all food is fresh/made to order. Wait times were a little bit longer than other restaurants but the food is fantastic so well worth the wait. I feel that staff is still ironing out details and some waitress’s are still learning the menu, but overall we will be coming back. The inside has tons of seating and is clean. Nothing fancy on the inside, but peaceful. Give them a shot!

Vegetarian options
Staff is knowledgeable about their menu. They had veggie sandwiches, and lots of vegetarian sides. Not a ton of options, but definitely at least 3-4 dishes with the opportunity to make veggie friendly substitutions.

Really really good food.
There is a lot of competition for food options in this area, so finding a spot that outshines the rest can be pretty difficult, but this is it.
While I normally stick to simple foods, I just had to try something different and do not regret it one bit.
Give this place a visit if you're around here!

Coming up to the restaurant, it looks like it’s closed but a secret treasure awaits inside! The food was absolutely top notch delicious. Best shrimp and grits I’ve had in a long time. The service was lovely and welcoming. The music was just slightly too loud for my taste at noon brunch time meal. But the music of choice, great vibes.

Hoping the food would match the promising menu, we were disappointed from the start. A Grade B health rating was the first thing we saw as we arrived 10 minutes before opening. Still, we were the first patrons and opted to sit on the deck to enjoy the beautiful day.
While our waitress was phenomenal and offered great recommendations, the food was a letdown. The fried deviled eggs were filled with a surprising amount of raw onion, and the strange breading was an odd off-putting texture. The large breakfast potatoes lacked any flavor, and the shrimp in the shrimp and grits were so overcooked they were rubbery.
The most disappointing dish was the red velvet chicken and waffles. I expected a firm, sweet waffle, but what I got was soggy, flavorless, and full of strange black flakes. It was impossible to even pick up with a fork. The only saving grace was the omelets, which were massive and flavorful.

The only good thing with this experience was that we were seated on time. The gentleman sat us down and brought our glasses of ice and carafes of water. We were a big party and was given 3 menus to share. He came around to take each of our orders (that we assume was correct) when they were taken. My friend ordered two appetizers fried deviled eggs but was only brought out one (fried green tomatoes). We had to ask for silverware several times, which I feel should've been at the table when we were seated down. Our food was brought out slowly but surely, several missing things from their orders. It got to the point that we were uninterested in receiving food that we had been waiting on like "forever." The food was good, but the service was awful. The owner was nice and apologetic. I did not receive everything I ordered, nor did my friend. I ordered the Garden omelet and can count on my hand how many pieces of mushroom was in it, but after a wait a side of mushrooms were brought out. I believe with work on the service issues the experience would've been great. I understand using handheld machines to place orders, but to prevent order issues/ delays writing down customer's orders and listening to them would be more sufficient. Don't know if I'll return anytime soon. Again the staff were nice and tried their best.

I was in town for my middle daughter’s dance competition and my oldest daughter expressed her interest in trying out this spot for brunch yesterday. I believe it’s a family owned business which is #1 in my book. We were greeted when we came in and had a great server. It was her 4th day and she did very well. She was very attentive. I tried the salmon patties and the first bite took me back to Grandma Irma’s house in the country!! Amazing!!! I also enjoyed my shrimp and grits that tasted like it came straight from the Lowcountry!! Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. The place was spacious and not noisy but just right.

My daughter and I live in Roswell, Georgia, but we're in the area for a taekwondo tournament.
We found this restaurant on Google Maps.
The food is excellent! We shared avocado toast that was delicious. My daughter had chicken tenders and fries. I had eggs Benedict and a side of collard greens. Everything tasted great. I've had collard greens at about 10 different restaurants. I have to say that these are my favorite... OUTSTANDING.
Our server was very nice and polite.
The atmosphere is "modern diner" with great music playing.
I would definitely eat here again ✅️
